He is survived by: his children, Max Ronald McCauley, Jr., Pam Chastain (Fred) and Lynn Richardson; his grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Chastain, Morgan Chastain and Nolan Wester; and his siblings, Tommy McCauley of Virginia, Phyllis Thomas (Manly) of Cameron, NC, Karen Thompson of Florida, Laurie McCauley Holland of Sanford, NC and Paige Burgess (Dean) of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546).
