She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Roberts, Sr.; her parents, Daniel Banks and Ruth Elizabeth Wallace; and her siblings, William Wallace and Catherine Aeker.
She is survived by: her children, James L. "Jimmy" Roberts, Jr. (Jane Roberts) of Lillington, Marye "Susie" Shelton (Jesse) of Lillington, Dan M. Roberts (Daphine McLean Roberts) of Lillington and Wallace E. "Wally" Roberts (Debra Collins Roberts) of New Bern; and her sisters, Martha Wallace Ward of Greenville and Marion Banks Hart of Mt. Olive. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
