She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lee West and Mamie Beasley West; her husband Luther Paul Dawson of Lillington; and her siblings, Iva Deans, Madie Allen, Eloise Miller, Marilyn McCorquodale, Rev. Melvin West, Ellis West, Marion West, Rev. Vance West, Rev. Bill West and A. L. West (Pete).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Guy, Kathi Winslow and Paul Dawson; her children-in-law, Bill Guy, Mark Winslow and Laura Dawson; her grandsons, Paul Dawson Winslow and Jonathan Grey Winslow; and her sister-in-law Magdalene West. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
