She was predeceased by: her parents, Needham Vann and Betty Mae Guy Vann; her husband Harold Johnson; her son Kevin Johnson; and her siblings, Percy Vann, Billy Vann, Lizzie Matthews (Boots), Ida Adams (Will), Ruby V. Fish and Marjorie V. Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty V. Connell of Linden and William; her son Art Vann of Lillington; her daughter-in-law Melanie Johnson of Lillington; her grandchildren, Brandy Roberts (Ray), Bradley Johnson (Casey) of Stedman and Nancy Johnson Lawrence (Brett) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Johnny, Levi, Wyatt, Matilda, Isaac and Autumn Grace. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and in-laws.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
