Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lloyd Welborn of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 86, on July 14, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Wesley Welborn and Ferne Breeding Needham; and his sisters, Joyce Ferne Mayer of Texas and Jo Ann McCrary of Texas. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Wayne; his granddaughter Mariah Dixon; his great grandchildren, Leelan and Kyra Dixon of Lillington; his grandson Chance Medlin of Tarboro; his brothers, Willard Needham (Pat) of Texas and Jess Needham (Faye) of Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Salmon of Sanford, Donald Salmon of Lillington and Michael Salmon (Edith) of Lillington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ephesus Presbyterian Church, 530 Peach Farm Rd., Lillington, NC 27546 or to the charity of one's choice.
