With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Melvin Harris of Lillington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2024 at the age of 85. He is survived by: his sister Shirley Weaver of Fredericksburg, VA; his godson Sterling McLean Jr. of Lilllington, NC; and his grandchildren, Lateele Richardson and Montei Clements of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and many friends.
