He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifton Coleman and Myrtle Lee Kennedy Coleman; his grandson Eric Coleman; his sister Donaphine "Donnie" Butler (Robert); his siblings-in-law, Dianne Coleman and Robert Johnson; and his nephew David Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Coleman; his sons, Michael Coleman of Lillington and Kevin Coleman (Tracy) of Lillington; his grandchildren, Jodi Brownne (Taylor), Jordan Byrd, Hunter Coleman, Kayla Coleman and Kameron Coleman; his great grandchildren, Serenity Brownne, Alexandria Brownne, Kaiden Coleman and Mason Brownne; and his siblings, Lana Ahrens (A. J.) of Georgia, Linwood Coleman of Broadway, Brenda Johnson of Lillington, Delia Powell (Leon) of Lillington and Jimmy Coleman (Cindy) of Lillington.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
