Karen Lynn Bresee Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2023, at the age of 50, Karen Lynn Bresee of Lillington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Austen C. Asquith. She is survived by: her mother Sherry Asquith of Morris; her husband Christopher Bresee; her daughter Kassondra Pierce; her brothers, Austen (Lori Asquith) and Brian (Marcela Asquith); and her granddaughters, Paislee and Cecilia. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew.

During the COVID-19 pandemic Karen chose to transition to a traveling Respiratory Therapist and worked multiple contracts at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Karen's memory to the ASPCA.

“Hello I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Karen’s family. She was my manager at UNC. She was a very kind caring supportive person. I respected her skills and expertise as she was an excellent manager and co-worker. My heart is sad for she will be missed. She will never be forgotten as she left her footprint on my heart and those she worked with. The last time I saw her she was excited to show me pictures of her new granddaughter. Wishing comfort, peace and love during this difficult time”
