It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Hamilton of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Helen Ann Poindexter Hamilton; his children, Joseph Hamilton, Jr. (Denise) of Sanford and Deborah Stewart (Hughie) of Coats; his grandchildren, Haley Stewart, Dylan Hamilton and Hughie Stewart IV; and his siblings, Robert (Bobby), Donnie Hamilton (Exie), Jeannie Murray and Patsy Thomas (Harry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
