It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Taylor Tyer of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Taylor Tyer and Erma Jean Hickman Tyer; his daughter Tiffany Nicole Tyer; and his brother Richard "Rick" Tyer. He is survived by: his fiancée Angela Joyner Lucas; his son Jacob Scott Tyer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jacob Lee Tyer, Izabella Nicole Tyer, Cloey Vega, Jayden Vega, Adriana Caldera, Aubri Potts, Maggie Jo Whitley and Boone Whitley; his stepchildren, Kyle Ray Whitley (Amelia) and Jessica Nicole Whitley; his siblings, George "Ed" Tyer (Charlene), Mitchell "Mick" Tyer (Melinda) and Gladys MacDonald (Bill); and his cousin Melody Lee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at 10437 Green Path Rd., Dunn, NC 28334.
