He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Mildred Wilborn Mason; and his wives, Sue Gaskin and Ann Mason. He is survived by: his daughter Deloris Mason Suggs (Steve Brown); his grandson Johnathan Lee Suggs; his sister Janet M. Boone (Joe); and his nieces, Tammy B. Johnson (Dan), Sandra B. Wester (Steve) and Brenda B. Furtick (Rusty). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
