She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence Williams and Thelma Caddell Williams; her husband J. D. "Johnny" Byrd; and her son Scott Dexter Byrd. She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Dwight Byrd (Kathleen), Barry William Byrd and Johnathan Dillon Byrd; her grandchildren, Randall Scott Byrd, Ashley Byrd Arnold, Kaylee Morgan Byrd, Ian William Byrd and Jenna Sharon Byrd; her great grandchild Meadow Suzanne Arnold; and her sisters, Joan Williams of Erwin, Barbara Massengill (Charles) of Benson, Ruby Bryant (Larry) of Dudley, NC and Donna Trice (Edwin) of Morrisville, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
