She was predeceased by: her parents, Mundy Hiott and Nita Morgan; and her husband Tony West. She is survived by: her children, Donna Cortez, Curtis West, Silvia Metzger (Tom), Daniel West and Helen Patrick (James); and her grandchildren, Alan West, Elizabeth Lliguicota (Jon), Adam Cortez, Kristin Patrick and Luke Metzger. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harnett Memorial Park (50 US-421, Lillington, NC 27546).
