It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Strickland Jr. of Lillington, North Carolina, born in Wendell, North Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linda Bradshaw and James Ashley Strickland, Sr.. He is survived by: his close friend Joeth Pannkuk Strickland; his children, James Ashley Strickland III (Rebekah Strickland), Amy Marissa Strickland (Diego Melendez) and Joshua Luke Strickland; his grandchildren, Chloe Strickland and Elian Melendez; his siblings, Jamie Strickland, Angie Strickland and Rachel Barbour (Chris); his stepfather Gerald Parrish; his aunt Maude Hocutt; and his uncle Fred Bradshaw (Peggy). He is also survived by 2 nieces, 10 nephews; 2 great nephews and many other family members.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
