It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Jacobs of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chief James P Jacobs and Viola E Jacobs (Whitehead); and his son Adrian. He is survived by: his wife Denise of Lillington, NC; his children, James Jacobs II (Michelle) of Hope Mills, NC, Dana Tyndall (Elwood) of Coats, NC, Tonia McLean (Lamar) of Linden, NC, Heather Fredericks (Ben) of Fayetteville, NC, Sharona Stokes (Terence) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Dani Jacobs (Chris) of Angier, NC; and his siblings, Larry Jacobs (Anna), Anthony Jacobs (Vivian), Kenneth Jacobs (Connie) and Sharon Lesley (John) of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
