He is survived by: his wife Zada Faye Wood Jernigan; his children, Elaine Martin (Willis Martin, Jr.) of Lillington, Timothy H. Jernigan (Kathey B. Jernigan) of Lillington, Carl L. Jernigan (Mellissa Rae Jernigan) of Lillington and Zada Jernigan Mulcahy of Dunn; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Denning, Becky S. Eubanks (Chester), Justin Mulcahy (Lindsey), Brian Mulcahy, Johnathan Jernigan, Emily Jernigan and Truett Jernigan; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob Denning, Bruce Eubanks and Tristen Mulcahy; his brother Millard Jernigan (Beverly); and his sisters-in-law, Carlotta Jernigan and Linda Jernigan.
