He is survived by: his children, Debra Jo McCommons of Virginia Beach, VA and Christopher John McCommons (Tina) of Angier, NC; his siblings, Marshall McCommons (Carol) of Lutz, FL, Jack McCommons (Rhonda) of Elkton, MD, Phyllis Byrne of Lewes, DE and Carol Swyka (Bobby) of Chesapeake City, MD; and his grandsons, Zachary and Noah McCommons-Martin of Virginia Beach, VA..
