She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Boan and Ruth Parks Boan; her husband Rayford Lee McDonald; and her son Edward Lee McDonald. She is survived by: her sons, Rayford McDonald (Larue) of Duncan, Carl McDonald of Raleigh, Eugene McDonald (Christine) of Wake Forest, Timothy McDonald (Carol) of Lillington and Robert McDonald (Donna Cooper) of Graham; and her brother Bob Boan. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
