He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred West, Sr. and Myrtle O'Neal West; and his sister Evelyn Samida (Tony) of Tucson, AZ.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou West; his daughter Marsha Abney (David) of Lillington; his granddaughter Karlye Abney of Lillington; his brother Joe West (Carolyn) of Zebulon; and his nieces, Shelly, Angelia and Victoria.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 525, Mamers, NC 27552.
