She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Matthews (Patricia) of New Bern, Tommy Matthews (Melanie) of Moncks Corner, SC, Gennevie Bryant, Sharon Harrington of Lillington and Genine Hardin (Virgil) of Bunnlevel; her siblings, Beulah McNeill (Carl) of Apex and Charleston Knight (Mildred) of Chicago, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Arthetha Knight and Louise McLean. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
