She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Houck and Effie Houck; her husband Joseph Holbrook; and her sons, James Holbrook, Philip Holbrook and Thomas Holbrook.
She is survived by: her son Michael Holbrook (Susan); and her sister Hazel Barr. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Antioch Baptist Church in Lillington.
