Edith Mangum Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2020, at the age of 88, Edith Mangum (Lillington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley Johnson and Arlie Wester Johnson; her grandson James Michael Harris II; and her siblings, Florine Penny, Jessie Cannady, John Johnson, Aaron Johnson and Larry Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Calvin Mangum, Sr.; her children, Shirley Mangum Mayo (Lavern) of Aurora, NC, Robert Mangum (Lisa) of Lillington, Donald Mangum (Jill) of Lillington and Calvin Mangum, Jr. (Cindy) of Lillington; her grandchildren, Lauren Ann Toler, Kindal Makolli, Shannon Carter, Taylor Carter, Trevor Carter, Brittany Bailey, Blake Rufus Mangum, Remington Chase Mangum, Summer Marie Bowman and Sarah Jane Bowman; her great grandchildren, Skyler Roy Harris, Kyra Faye Harris, Colson James Mitchell, Kinley Batby and Reed Wilson Bailey; and her siblings, Ramona Bethune, Doris Peebles, Rosa Lee Lasater and Nathan Johnson (Mable). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
