He was predeceased by: his parents, Syvada Grissom Holder and Alton Holder; and his wife Helen Long Holder. He is survived by: his children, Candace Holder Stephens (Bo), Bridget Holder Cox (Richie), Marie Long and Jim Long; his grandchildren, Brayden, Cade Stephens, Olivia, Griffin Cox, Marianne Long and Jaxon Long; and his siblings, Elaine Holder Currin (James) and Graham Flynn Holder (Sylvia). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church Playground Fund at 1625 Ray Rd. Spring Lake, NC 28390.
