He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Osee and Evelyn Porter Rogers; his sister Mary Rogers Rose; his daughter Heidi Michelle Rogers; and his grandson Joshua Adam Nixon.
He is survived by: his wife Helen McLeod Rogers; his children, Jesse Lee Hughes (Michelle) of Broadway, Susie Hughes of Taiwan, Marsha Nixon (Kelvin) of Lillington, Dawn Rogers of Lillington, Thomas Rogers of Lillington and Timothy Rogers (Laney Whiteman Rogers) of Cheraw, SC.; his grandchildren, Heidi Nixon Bradley (Dustin Bradley, Kassidy), Cole Nixon, Victoria Nixon and Emmaline Rogers; his sister Janice Rogers Burtner (Harry); and his brother-in-law Larry Rose.
