He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Champion and Doris Champion. He is survived by: his wife Jenny W. Champion; his children, Kevin Champion (Monica) and Jennifer Harrison (Taylor) of Lillington; his grandchildren, Brantley, Molly, Lane, Avery and Ty; and his siblings, Jimmy Champion (Gail) of Lillington, Sherrill Champion (Gloria) of Lillington and Diane Davis (Steve) of Raleigh.
