He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Angela Mitchell; his children, DaShawna Mitchell, Latrice Monroe (Tyrone) of Lillington and Michael Monroe; his grandchildren, Michael, Makell, Makayla, Jayden and Taylor; and his siblings, Johnell Chance of Bunnlevel, Sammy Whittington of Taylorsville, Terry Mitchell (Sherry) and Debra Allen of Wedgefield. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
