He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lawrence Smith and Flora Ann West Smith of Erwin. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sons, Josh Smith (Katie) and Joey Smith (April); his grandchildren, Ezra, Tad, Zoe and Ella; his brother Larry Smith (Jennie); and his daughters, Katie and April.
