With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daisy Lasater (Lillington, North Carolina), born in Mamers, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daisy Lasater to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalmers Gilchrist and Mamie Nordan Gilchrist; her stepfather Marvin Ferguson; and her siblings, Bryant Gilchrist and Virginia Sherman.
She is survived by: her sons, Barrett Lasater (Deborah) of Greenville, NC and David Lasater (Martha) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Gina Duckett (Ben), Muriel Lasater Sizemore (Michael) and Chandler Lasater; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Ellie and Christopher Duckett; and her sisters, Rosie Lee Johnson of Lillington and Margaret Smart of Greenville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance will be limited to the immediate family.
