It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Burgess of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carey Burgess and Mary Cameron Burgess; and his siblings, J. C. Burgess, George Burgess, Sam Burgess, Winfred Burgess and Kenneth Burgess.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lucille McLamb of Charlotte and Lindsey Burgess of Lillington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
