With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Earl Gray of Lillington, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Gray and Olivia Gray; his wife Brenda Gray; and his son Forrest Gray. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Hedges, Darcy Copeland, Shelly Burton, Susanne Gray, Lori Gray and Joy Hedges.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home (1310 S Main St, Lillington, NC 27546).
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice in Charlie's memory.
