He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmers Kelly Sr. and Mildred Brown Kelly; his sister Vernal Kelly McNeill; and his brother-in-law James Lee McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kelly; his daughter Audra Abernethy (Robert); his brothers, Reggie Kelly (Sheryl) and Stuart Kelly (Derenda); and his grandchildren, Robyn and Bobby Abernethy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
