She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Vaow; her son Walter Lewis Johnson; and her sisters, Christine Stansbury and Geraldine Freeman. She is survived by: her son Dwayne Johnson (Shirley) of Lillington; her brothers, Marshall Page of Lillington and Tony Jackson of Linden; her grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Tina Johnson, Zac Johnson, Chrystal Hammons and Leah Strickland; her great grandchildren, Chelsea Riffle, Taylor Strickland and Landon Hammons; and her great great grandchildren, Riolyn and Liam Riffle.
