He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Wade and Annie Mae Jones Wade; his wife Phyllis Wade; and his daughters, Karen Wade and Mary Harper.
He is survived by: his son Bobby Wade (Amy) of Fuquay-Varina. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dementia Alliance of NC, 9131 Anson Way Suite 206, Raleigh, NC 27615 In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
