He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roosevelt Adams and Mary Avery Adams; and his siblings, Joe, Jimmy Adams and Melinda Autry.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Adams of Lillington and Diane Tyndall (Wayne) of Dunn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
