He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wiggins Edwards; his daughters, Deana Parrish (Cecil Parrish) of Angier, NC and April Edwards Walker of Grand Prairie, TX.; his brother Wayne Edwards of Durham; and his grandchildren, Deanna Hernandez, Cecilia Parrish, Shaquan Walker, Joshua Dean Walker and Travis Parrish. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Lillington Health & Rehabilitation Center (1995 E Cornelius Harnett Blvd, Lillington, NC 27546).
