She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Kinney and Beulah Crabtree Kinney; her husband George Owens; and her siblings, Emmette Kinney, Bob Kinney, John Kinney, Donna Lilly and Annette Gremler.

She is survived by: her brother Ray Maxwell Kinney of Cedar Lake, IN; and her niece Theresa Rice of Lillington, NC..
