With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Ruth Barefoot of Lillington, North Carolina, born in Cumberland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Benson and Virginia Milliken Benson; and her siblings, Sonny Benson, Becky Horne, Betty Fleming and Dorothy Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband John Barefoot; her children, DuWayne Jordan (Janet), Ronald Jordan (Dorothy) and Dixie Jordan; and her siblings, Albert Benson and Esther Carter. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
