He was predeceased by: his parents, Moran McPherson and Flora Jane McPherson; and his siblings, William McPherson, Moran McPherson, Larry McPherson, James McPherson, Mildred McPherson and Flora Ann McPherson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McPherson; his son James M. McPherson; his grandsons, James D. McPherson and Alexander McPherson; his great grandchild Xaiden; and his siblings, Elizabeth Solis of Bunnlevel, Sue Willis of Selma and Charles McPherson of Red Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew; all the special friends.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
