He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Gulledge and Beatrice Quick Gulledge; his daughter Carrie Ann Gulledge; and his siblings, John William, Betty Boling and Patsy Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Beachum Gulledge; his daughter Amy Dawkins (Dickie) of Lilesville; his grandchildren, Greg Huneycutt (Callie) of Pineshurst, Nicole Dawkins of Lilesville, Rick Dawkins (Katie) of Lilesville and April Surratt (Brandon) of Ansonville; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Gulledge of Lilesville and Cleveland Jordan of Wadesboro; and his aunt Charlotte Grant of Ellerbe. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
