She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alexander "Boot" Clark and Clara Mae Hildreth Clark; her husband Walter Adam Downer, Jr.; her daughter Katherine Dianne Downer; and her brother James A. "Jim" Clark, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Downer (Tesa) of Lilesville, Adam Downer (Tina Lampley) of Lilesville and Terri Goodwin (Dennis) of Lilesville; her grandchildren, Mandy Ivey, Melissa Lear (Gary), Kayla Downer, Tyler Downer, Heidi Edwards (Jeremy), Mack Goodwin (Anna Liles) and Kristin Buff (Richard); her great grandchildren, Cameron Dial, Wesley Lear, Nate Lear, Sarah Buff and Maston Buff; and her sister-in-law Joanne Clark.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Savannah United Methodist Church (5549 Ingram Mountain Rd, Lilesville, NC 28091).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forestville United Methodist Church, c/o, Joanne Clark, 1781 Clark Mtn.
