He is survived by: his mother Minnie Lee Tarlton Poplin of Lilesville; and his siblings, Robert Poplin, Jr. of Lilesville, Nancy Hildreth (Lindsey) of Lilesville and Tina Cranford (Roy) of Wadesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
