He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Ratliff and Catherine Bryant Ratliff; and his siblings, Curtis Ratliff, Glennie Mae Ratliff, Betty Jane Threadgill and Aline Robbins.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Pegram Ratliff; his children, Tammy Brewer (Earl) of Ellerbe, Mitchell Ratliff (Sherry) of Lilesville and Mike Ratliff (Donna) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Amanda Ratliff of Lilesville, Will Ratliff (Erin Greene) of Lilesville, Carly Ratliff of Lilesville, Levi Ratliff of Lilesville, Cameron Brewer of Ellerbe, Michael Ratliff and Kelly Ratliff; his great grandchildren, Dillon Black, Gabriel Parks and Elijah Parks; and his sister-in-law Diane Marks (Wayne) of Albemarle. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
