He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Thomas Williams and Beulah Ricketts Williams; his son Jimmy Williams; and his siblings, Van Williams, Tommy Williams, Ralph Ricketts, Calvin Williams and Margaret Chewning.
He is survived by: his wife Ursula Lipp Williams; and his children, Edward Williams of Lilesville and Jacqueline Ricketts (Dennis) of Wadesboro. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his sisters and brother.
