He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Ward and Beulah Ward; and his siblings, Ann Ward, Jane Fisher, Leon T. Ward and Cliff Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Billy and Mandy; his wife Margie Ward; his children, William Ward Jr. (Brenda) and Amanda Chambers (Jeff); his grandchildren, Trent Womble (Jackie) and Taylor Womble (Ashlyn); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Caden, Regan, Palmer and Oakley; and his sister Margaret Hemphill.
