It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Astor Ward (Liberty, North Carolina), who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Ward and Beulah Ward; and his siblings, Ann Ward, Jane Fisher, Leon T. Ward and Cliff Ward.

He is survived by: his children, Billy and Mandy; his wife Margie Ward; his children, William Ward Jr. (Brenda) and Amanda Chambers (Jeff); his grandchildren, Trent Womble (Jackie) and Taylor Womble (Ashlyn); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Caden, Regan, Palmer and Oakley; and his sister Margaret Hemphill.
