She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Harrison Lamb and Martha Jane Chapman Lamb; her husband Thomas McCarthy; and her siblings, Barbara McCarthy, Nelson Lamb and Julius Lamb.

She is survived by: her children, Renee Cannon and William Kiziah (Susan); and her grandchildren, Donna Jabar, Angie Titchenell, Julie Browning (Marty), Sherie Titchenell, James Cannon (Samantha), Nathan Kiziah (Kristen) and Sarah Kiziah. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
