With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Mae Layton Whetstine (Liberty, North Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Layton and Bertha Coble Layton; her husband Roy Whetstine; and her siblings, Maxine Stevenson, Samuel Layton and Johnnie Layton.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Whetstine Brower (Ronnie); her granddaughters, Jessica Brower, Rebekah Brower and Anna Brower; and her nieces, Judy Miller, Vickie Loy and Judy Kivett.
