He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Wade Linebarrier and Lillie Furr Linebarrier; his wife Clara Jean Linebarrier; and his siblings, Rebecca Farlow, Gail Kawahara, Audrey Vanderburg, Bill Linebarrier and George Linebarrier.
He is survived by: his sons, Lewis Ray Linebarrier of Hickory and Mark Linebarrier; his caregiver Doug Linebarrier of Winston Salem; and his sister-in-law Loretta Linebarrier of Asheboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
