He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Wade Linebarrier and Lillie Furr Linebarrier; and his siblings, Rebecca Farlow, Gail Kayrahaua, Audrey Vanderburg, Bill Linebarrier and George Linebarrier.

He is survived by: his sons, Lewis Linebarrier of Liberty and Mark Linebarrier; his caregiver Doug Linebarrier of Winston Salem; and his sister-in-law Loretta Linebarrier of Asheboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
