She was predeceased by: her father Armp Junior Layton; and her brother Dwight Richard Layton. She is survived by: her mother Betty Holden Layton; her children, Casie Hiester (James) and Paul Wells (Emily); her grandchildren, Zoey Wells, Zuri Wells, Zachary Wells, Holden Hiester and Cole Hiester; and her brother Doug Layton (Susan).
