It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dee Campbell Sr. of Liberty, North Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Harold and Addie Williams Campbell; and his siblings, Dorothy Kivett, Addle Lea Taylor, James Arthur "Jim" Campbell, Harold Truitt "Doc" Campbell and Wylie Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sykes Campbell; his son John Dee Campbell, Jr. (Cindy); his stepson Steven G. Wicker; his grandchildren, Roger Wayne Ledford and Heather Diane Ledford; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Tucker, Roger Wayne Ledford, Jr. and Julian Ledford; and his siblings, Patti "Pat" Campbell and Lloyd Campbell.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Junction Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
