He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Irene Dare Long Black; and his brothers, Kenneth Black and Eddie Black. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hodgin Black; his daughters, Melanie Terrell, Stacy Staley (John), Christa Evans (Trevor) and Wendy Hart (Jimmy); and his sister Vicky Faulkner (Tiger). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson.
